If it's blocked with a clot I would think they could go thru his groin or arm and remove it. I am not a doctor, but my husband had the same situation 2 weeks ago.  He is back at work today.  Good Luck

Wen mom had a heart attack she needed surgery but was too sick.  Wen grandmom had one, they were abortion agent her that night and she's fine now.  When daddy had blockages, he had no heart attack bug was sent to miami for surgery within 24 hours.  Based on all that, it seems like he shld have had surgery already.  Did they say why he hasn't?

Insist on speaking to the doctor- ask why they are treating how they are, if a bypass is in order and if not, why not?  If you are not satisfied, say you want a second opinion.  Make sure it is a full-fledged, experienced cardiologist, not a resident you are speaking to.  Patients have rights and sometimes the family really has to fight to get the kind of care they need- you deserve to know what is going on and what if any options there are for your dad.
