Please help im really worried!

Hi

Im really worried after reading around the net that i could have some leading to oral cancer.

About 5 weeks ago i noticed my throat was getting sore but thought nothing of it and continued along as usual.A couple of days later while brushing my teeth one night i noticed the back of my tongue had inflammed bumps and my tongue had a yellow coating on it.

Now 4 weeks later its got worse.

I now have a large brown lump at the back of my tongue around the same area as my avulva and my tongue just seems to get worse no matter how much brushing or use of oral mouthwash i use.

My throat is sore from the moment i open my eyes to the time i go asleep and i constantly feel like i have something caught in my throat.

Im 28 and smoke.

Heres a pic might explain better but its nasty so be prepared..

Cheers in advance for any advice

Stop smoking and see a doctor.  Sure you'll be miserable for three days, but life is full of misery, and nothing is worse than getting cancer.  Try calling them cancer sticks instead of cigarettes.

hiya to be honest please do not read up symptoms on the internet as there is so much that can worry you unessecarily and make you think you have something, of course you wanted to have  a look but the best thing is to got o your doctor who will give you the correct diagnoses i dont think smokeing helps as this can trigger many side affects so just get it checked out and put your mind at ease.x hope all goes well and you get the answer you want.x
