Please help me!

Hi everyone. I am 15 years old and since 4 and a half months I have noticed a swolen lymph node in my neck under the jaw on the left side. Before it was not that ''big'' if I recall well. I do have other health problems which I dont really think are connected but nevermind Ill write them anyway. I have trigeminal neuralgia around 25 attacks a day without yet a known cause- antiepileptic none of the drugs worked. Before doctors suspected paraneoplastic syndrome (because I have oligoclonal bands in my cerebrospinal fluid)but havent checked the lymph nodes since they werent swolen (this was 6 months ago). They also did lots of other tests and everything was fine.  I dont really have a significant weight loss, maybe a kg and a half, im feeling a little tired but not significant also, and a week ago I woke up all covered in sweat which has never happened to me before (also its winter and the heating is turned off at night). The lymph node was 1,5 cm a month ago, now its around 2 cm. It is not really rock hard, but it is pretty firm. No pain at all. Now I notice a lymph node on the right side around a cm in size, but less movable and a lot harder then the other one. Maybe it just feels like that because its smaller, I'm not sure. Also, if this has to do anything with this, last year in january, february and march I had constant high tempreture without any other symptoms, with no known cause. Left by itself.Other than this I feel pretty fine. I told this to my doctor and she wanted to do an ultrasound last month but the mashine broke so now I'm not really sure what I'm sepaused to do. Could this be something serious or should I just ignore it?

The doctor that sceduled was an neurologist. Im tired of being treated like a hypohondriac with illusions. Similar to this situation was when 4 years ago when for 2 years doctors kept telling me I feel things that arent there etc. and turned out to be multiple sclerosis.

Your anxious about your health which is natural. And worry can make us feel and see all sorts of unreal thing's happening when their not. Try to relax and just go and see your DR as planned. I'm sure if they thought it was an issue then they would have had some other test's done besides the one where the machines not working. And the test your waiting for is JUST a precaution and not a diagnosis. Good Luck xx
