Possible candida? At my wits end

Hi, I have had varying symptoms such as memory loss, anxiety, mental confusion, anxiety, obsessive thoughts, muscle twitches, stiff neck and shoulders, heart palpitations (heart pounding), ringing in the ears (I listen to loud music so that could be an explanation for this one), migraines, a feeling of pressure behind the head, extreme fatigue, low activity level, brain fog and more.

I have been tested for gluten intolerance and my B12 level is in the very bottom of the normal range so I am supplementing for that. I passed the gluten/wheat intolerance test. Sometimes I notice that I get the heart pounding after eating high carb or high sugary foods and this can set off some anxiety. I passed for hypoglycemia, too, so I don't have that. I followed a gluten free diet for three and a half months and felt pretty good. The effects of this were made better when I took a strong B-compelx (B-100) and I was almost back to my old ways for a couple of months.

But I began to reintroduce cereals and bread back into my diet and what do ya know, within a week or two I was back to my old ways again. I have noticed that Candida could be the cause and I did the spit test and failed it. My saliva descended to the bottom of the glass and there was cloudiness. I know this test is controversial, however. I have answerered three Candida questionnaires and according to them, it is a strong possibility that I have it. Having to suffer with kidney issues, I have a history of taking amoxicillin throughout life and I am embarrassed to say that I binge eat on sugars at weekends. I also have a three to four year history of binge drinking, and to be honest it was at that point when I quit that I have never felt the same since!

Can anybody explain these symptoms? I have had people tell me that I am a hypochondriac and that it's all in my head but I know these symptoms are very real! I have had a heart ECG peformed and I am going back to my doctors this week to get the results and I plan on bringing up Candida but I heard that ordinary doctors are not too clued up about this subject.

Ezz, thanks for the reply.

I saw thrush on Google but I didn't read up about it. I will do some studying on the subject. I have ordered some Threelac. It's really expensive stuff so I hope it works! I was also told to get some anti-fungal medicine but I am not sure which one to choose? Today, I have had no sugary or yeast foods and I feel better than yesterday.

Have you thought of thrush? Sounds like you could have it orally and in the pubic region. Thrush can cause many symptoms similar to what you are describing and can also go hand in hand with candida. I've heard Threelac is a natural product that might help with the candida but with thrush the doctor needs to perscribe the correct antibiotics for that especially if it is a severe case.

I neglected to mention that my tongue is coated in white and has red spots but I'm not sure if they are taste buds? And I'll get itching on my arms and tiny blood like spots will appear over the scratching area. There is also the occasional itching between my pubic bone and the leg which can turn viciously red.
