Post Hip Replacement Pain

THR 1 1/2 yrs ago. No pain until the 9th month. Now, total sciatic px. Hip always hurts deep with px radiating to many different locations down leg.  Guess it depends on which nerve is being compromised. Hip Dr. says no problem with implant. Back Dr. says mild disc bulge with osteoarthritis in facet joints in lumbar spine, but not enough to cause this much pain.  Tried PT, three sessions about crippled me. Now going to Chiropractor who is doing a combo of adjustments, acupuncture, plant based injections, ultra sound, etc.  Still in pain, but hoping this will work. My theory is scar tissue from hip replacement is growing and compromising nerves.  Back is contributing, but not the total cause.  In constant pain, can't find permanent relief.  Any ideas for treatment?

Thanks for the tip.  I broke that same leg pretty bad in 2003 and the length was checked many times for length.  Haven't thought of that because of the hip.  I'll have my Chiropractor check it on Monday.  Thanks again.

I would check to see if you have leg length discrepancy.  I don't have hip replacement, but I have only 1/2 inch leg discrepancy and get nerve pain from that.  I put a 1/2 inch lift in my shoe and it cured my nerve pain.
