The levels are from Web MD. That website shows Indirect Bilirubin levels at 0.2-0.8 mg/dL. There has been no alcohol or drug use. No trauma. New medications include birth control (Lo Ogestrol), and antibiotics (Amoxicillin 2000 mg per day for 10 days) for a recent sore throat.
May I ask where you found the limit for indirect Bilirubin? My sources say that the levers are normal at: 03 to 1.9 mg/dl. And also has there any trauma to the liver, any alcohol usage in large amounts, any anti psychotics, and sex hormones, and actually the list can go on.
Here is an update: CBC Normal. PT and PTT Normal. BMP Normal. Abdominal ultrasound normal, liver not enlarged and no gallstones. Liver Enzymes Normal. The results of the hepatitis panel are not back yet. The only really abnormal elevation is the Indirect Bilirubin which is 1.9 (limit is 0.8). Do these lab results seem more consistent with a form of hepatitis or Gilbert's Syndrome? If the liver was so affected to be causing an elevation of bilirubin wouldn't the liver enzymes be elevated as well? Thanks!
she could have something wrong with her liver and get her to ask for a hep test
Those numbers arent too high. The ultrasound is a wise choice, I'm sure they're going to check if the liver is enlarged or if there gallstones. There are some cases where the levels have been to like 10 and more, So I wouldn't have concern the ultra sound will tell ya.
