I also have iguanas and yesterday i was holding her could she be carrying something that would make me break out? Also, there is swelling around my lips and ears, and my throat felt like it was closing up.

I think the vomiting may not be associated with the rash, in that case could it be roseala and is there any chance i am contagious?

Hi
Thanks for writing to the forum!
Urticaria is usually triggered by allergens, such as drugs, foods, insect bites, inhaled substances, in response to sunlight, cold, heat, stress, exercise, or a viral infection. Other common allergens are pollen, mold, dust, pet dander, or cosmetics.

In your case since this was associated with vomiting it could be a food item you ate or a drug you took for something.
It is difficult to comment beyond this at this stage . Please let me know if there is any thing else and do keep me posted. Take care!
