Red Itchy Hands

I have been having these "episodes" where my hands get HOT, start to itch and turns red and gets a little painful.  I start feeling flushed and salivate more.  The heat goes all the way up to my ears and head.  I've even had my eyes turn blood shot red! Once this calms down, my ears and head still feel hot and can last for the rest of the day.  I'm not sure what to do anymore.  I went to my primary care and he couldn't tell me anything because it was not visuable at the time to treat?  It happens every now and then.  I have been writing down what I eat and its never the same.  Today, I hadn't even had my first meal so I'm not sure what this could be or what kind of specialist I should see.  What could this be?

Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
Well, itchy palms could be eczema, fungal infection (Tinea manum or ringworm of hand), dermatitis, contact allergy with allergens like soap, chemicals etc.  If you itch between fingers too, there are chances that it is scabies. It could be viral in origin—as a part of hand foot and mouth disease.
I think you should discuss these possibilities with a skin specialist.
Hope this helps. Please let me know if there is any thing else and do keep me posted. Take care!
