Hi, around one month ago I had a terrible sore throat, dry cough and a running nose which wouldn't go away even when I drank loads of water and gargled salt water. I looked into my mouth and saw about 9-10 small red bumps at the back of my throat. Thinking its caused by my sore throat, I went to see a doctor.

The doctor simply looked at my throat and didn't make a big fuss out of it. Nether did he explain to me what it was. He just gave me 5 days antibiotics, some flu medications. Right now my sore throat and cough is cured with a slight running nose. However the red bumps did not disappear. What are these red bumps?
