Red itchy bumps

I have been getting red itchy bumps mainly on my legs, ankles, tops of my feet, and occasionally around my waist. They itch terribly and eventually turn into scabs that take forever to heal? What could it be????

I have had the same thing happen several weeks ago. I actually thought I had been bitten by some sort of bug or spider. They didn't want to go away and itched something crazy. I couldn't tell you how long it took to clear up, but it eventually did. However, I am now completely covered in what is called uticaria and angioedema. They are large rash (hives) all over my body. They leave my skin very tender. I have been on steroids, anti-histamines and bad about 8 different blood tests done. They do not know what has caused this and as of now, the treatments they are trying are not working. I am still seeing my doctor in hopes of some light at the end of the tunnel. This current outbreak has been ongoing for almost 2 weeks now, progressively getting worse. I would go to the doctor if you can, if you can't keep an eye on the progression. Track the length of time it sticks around and any notable changes in them. Hope this helps

It could be eczema.  Are you using a new detergent or has your detergent been "New and Improved" ?  Have you switched fabric softener?  Are you walking in the woods?  Are  there too many weeds in your yard?
Are there little spiders in the plants near your house?
Do you sweat because of the elastic around your waist?  Called heat-rash.

All of the above can cause an itch and sometimes tiny blisters that scab.

Hope this info. is helpful.  Wishing you the best
