Resistant Oral Yeast Infection - Please Help!

I am DESPERATE for a resolution to this. I'm supposed to cycle back to the states to get married in two months, please help me get rid of this before then!!! I have tried everything I can possibly think of and it just won't go away!!!

About 6 months ago, I went to a doctor regarding 2 irritating, small, thin white patches on the sides of my tongue (where my teeth touch my tongue) near the back of my mouth.

At this time, I asked the doctor to test me for all STDs & Diabetes - all tests came back negative. I also had a CBC done, and there was nothing out of the ordinary.

I told the doc that I thought it was an early thrush infection. He disregarded it.

About 2 months later, another doc put me on antibiotics for several weeks. It was at this time that my small case of thrush became a full blown monster.

Since then, I have been on ketoconazole 3x, I am currently finishing my 3rd cycle that has lasted nearly 1 month. I have gone through 2x 10day nystatin suspension every 4-6 hours (while on ketoconazole). I started taking acidophillus pills, garlic pills, apple cider vinegar pills, rinsing with organic apple cider vinegar. I take a probiotic mint twice each day after brushing my teeth. I take a vitamin D supliment every 3 days. I am currently on day 2 of applying Gentian Violet twice daily (though I think that I will increase it to 3-4x daily). For the last 2 months, I have eaten nothing but grilled chicken, beef, or turkey and cucumbers and/or broccoli with water.

Everything I try just seems to suppress it (if that), but not make it disappear... please note that it has never gone away completely, it always comes back.

I rub the white coating away, and it just comes back an hour later...

Your lymphocytes, flagged as high by your lab: according to an old book I have is a little high in the percentage range they list.  I have a print out from a lab testing I had that lists the range for percent of lymphocytes as 20.5-51.1 but labs vary as to normal range!

If it was based on the ranges of monocytes on the same print out, your numbers would be high- they list normal range (for their lab) as 0.11-0.59 Th/cmm and
1.7-9.3 %!  And according to the old book I mentioned, calle A Manual of Laboratory Diagnostic Tests (second editon by  Frances Fischbach), the percentage is definitely too high!  Plus I saw on a couple of websites normal ranges that would still make your percentage higher than normal!  Did they not flag your monocytes on your test?

The neutrophils it looks like equals the granulocytes online. 42.2-75.2 is the percentage the lab print out I have has as a reference range.

No, it does not cover a differential of the WBCs unless the doctor specifically requests it in addition to the CBC.  You say you are taking acidophilus & are rinsing with apple cider vinegar, which sound like excellent steps to take.  Another idea is that you are under out of the ordinary stress in Iraq, and stress can lower your resistance to infection.  Could you try a good vitamin B 50 time release supplement that might help a little with that?  What about temporarily getting a prescription of mild tranquilizers to see it it helps with the stress.  I had a period of time where I was getting the flu for 4 weeks and 5 weeks and it was suggested to me stress may have played a roll in why it lasted for so long because I was told stress lowers resistance.  Also, what about trying eating vanilla or plain yogurt three times a day where you let the yogurt sit on the lesions, trying to get coverage for about five minutes each time?

Also, I'm not 5 days into my Gentian Violet treatment.

I can't tell if it's causing sores in my mouth or if the yeast has adapted to this treatment also. I guess I'll find out in 2 more days... I just want rid of this for my wedding.

I would think that it would at least wane due to the fact that I'm not eating ANY sugar... what is this thing feeding on to keep growing?

I'm deployed in Iraq. I don't have access to an accupuncturist / herbalist.

I had a CBC ran. Does that cover a differential of WBC?

Have you tried going to a Chinese acupuncturist/herbalist?  Have you had a differential of your WBC blood test run?
