Ring Finger Pain

i am a 32 year old male, i have started to experience pain in my right hand ring finger 4 years ago that started on less frequent patterns to a more frequent incidents now. the location of the pain is at the side of the finger tip, the side facing the middle finger.  i ve no associated pain nor numbness with this sort of pain. i experince this pain sometimes without a direct contact of this finger with any object, sitting there and it hurts, ofcourse most times when it gets in contact with pressure on that point.

It sounds like it could be nerve pain.  Do you work with your hands, do repetitive work? Carpal Tunnel can cause nerve pain in the hands. A doctor could order some tests for you and recommend some remedies.
