I have been trying to find out what should be visibile in your saliva under a microscope?
From what I've read and seen, cheek epithelial cells are definitely going to be visible. Also, bacteria and other odds and ends living in there are also visible (to a degree).
I took a look at my saliva under a microscope and I see the epithelial cells, and some bacteria - but there is something else there in great number and was extremely curious to know what it is -- as I have not been feeling well (too much to list, except I'll say I think it is an autoimmune something or other).
