Severe Mental & Physical Symptoms

I am in a lot of pain from severe physical and mental symptoms.

My whole right side hurts a lot, especially my right eye, temple, inner ear, shoulder, hip and leg.

My right eye, temple, face, head and eye socket also feel fractured from the rest of my body.

Often my legs feel very weak, my balance is off, and my feet feel like they're not even touching the ground.

I also have a severe churning in my stomach and head, and am very anxious, moody and depressed.

It literally feels like someone is drilling into my right temple, ear and eye.

I'm also having strange mental symtoms like visual and auditory disturbances.

I don't know whether to start with a psychiatrist or a physical doctor, what tests I need to have done, and what condition(s) this could be.

Any doctor who can help me with this is very much appreciated.

Thank you!

Thank you Doctor Kevin.  I'm going to get all the appropriate tests asap, as soon as medical insurance is switched over to my new state of residence. Thank you again!

Sincerely,
Erik D.

Sorry, my answer got cut off.

Just to continue about the stomach symptoms.

You can consider an upper endoscopy or upper GI series to evaluate for the aforementioned conditions.

A referral to a GI physician can be made if the tests continue to be non-revealing.

Difficult to say without evaluation.

Weakness and head discomfort can be indicative of a neurologic disease.  Obtaining an MRI of the brain can look for a bleed or mass that can cause similar symptoms.  I would see a neurologist at this point.

Regarding the stomach symptoms, a variety of upper GI disorders can be responsible.  This can include GERD, an ulcer, or inflammation of the upper digestive tract.

Followup with your personal physician is essential.
