Severe stomach cramps, nausea, diarrhoea, sweating

Hi there,

For the past two or three years, about every two months, I wake up with really severe stomach/abdominal cramps, that I can't concentrate on anything else. I go to the bathroom, but nothing comes out. Occasionally a hard stool will come out, but then the pain subsides for a bit.
Go back to bed, lay in the fetal position (if i lay flat the pains still there) but then in about 30mins, wake again with the same pains, and sweating, really hot, nauseous. Go to the bathroom - nothing.
Eventually after a couple rounds of this, I go to the bathroom, and diarrhoea just explodes, and I feel better after, but still a bit nauseous.

Any ideas what this could be? Never been to a doctor for it, as it's always the middle of the night, and don't know if theres anything they could do if it isnt happening then.
From what I recall, there is never any specific food it happens with. I've just started a food diary to see.

I agree with aldunn. Do u drink enough water or take vitamins? Or eating enough vegetables? I have colon pain all the time and a lot of "pooping" problems, if you will. Drink plenty of water and excercise. And definitely call your doc, it could be totally serious.

You should probably see a physician.  This could be a colon problem, a parasite, or even a gallbladder problem.  There are many things that can cause these symptoms but only a physician can properly diagnose it.  If you are concerned, then you should see a doctor.
