Sharp head aches when coughing.

Ive been sick with what i thought was a cold for about 1 week. The usual stuffy nose, sinus pressure, and pnd causing me to cough and throw up. I started taking benadryl which helped alot and yesterday i seemed much better, that is until night fell, i got really bad sore throat and just nonstop coughing and vomiting. None of this worried me until this morning. Now every time I cough I get extremely sharp headaches, the pain is on both sides and like the back of my skull. Any ideas or knowledge if this indicates something serious?

Maybe it's time for some anti-biotics.  It sounds like fluid is in your tubes. If you have a headache then coughing will make it worse too.
