Shaving Reaction

About 2 years ago I all of a sudden got a reaction to shaving with a razor. I got a shaving rash (like a usually did) but I also became very clammy and hot especially on my face, I also got cotton mouth which lasted for a whole day. This reaction happened after about a month of shaving once a week where before I had shaved every day.

Now I still cannot shave with a razor or even closely with an electric razor as I get the same reaction. I have to shave to a stuble and ill get a cotton mouth for about an hour. I have tried the odd close shave with a razor every now and then (once every 3-4months) but I still get the same reaction however due to my job I will need to be clean shaven and I cant work effectively with this reaction
