Shoulder injury

I hurt my shoulder last night while wrestling with my husband. My arm was pinned under him when I rolled off the couch to get away. To simple put it, my arm bent the wrong way. I called my 24 hr nurse through my insurance and she said have it looked at today. My husband came home and told me no and that he didn't think there was anything that wrong. I am just concerned because the pain level is at a constant 6-8 and nothing I am doing is giving any relief. He wants me to wait 24-48 hrs and see how it is. What is your opinions?

well you could be experiencing swelling in the joint from minor trauma, look for these signs for rotator cuff tear. unable to rotate shoulder joint or place your injured arm straight out to the side.with your arm extended raise your hand bove your head. if you could do this, possible all you have is swelling. most likely you cant due to recent injury. still have it looked at, i doubt a humeral head fracture presents, but injured tendon, ligament, rotator cuff/.  good luck

if u fractured ur shoulder, ur pain would be 10. but u might have torn something. but that doesnt have to be treated right away. if a ligament is torn, it will stay that way. so if u still experience pain on movement, and espeacially if lift ur arm to reach for things and feel pain, than deff see an ortho doctor, just to check what it is. could be later on in a week.

good luck

I reckon if it's hurting that much you'd be better off getting someone to have a look at it hun
