Sinus pressure and face numbness

I have severe sinus pressure and headaches for the past 2 months.  Also I have numbness in my left cheek and half of my tongue is numb.

I had a CT scan that showed infected sinuses.  Took augmenten for 10 days, still feel terrible.  Doctor started me on Doxycycline for another 10 days.

Anyone else have the numbness.  Its driving me crazy

Maybe try nasal irrigation- gentle and safe.  Cleared my infected sinuses.

Yeah, I have.  All my life I had one sinus issue after another.... multiple infections.  Mostly my issues were allergies, and several years ago I was told I have nasal polyps.  The salt water rinse seemed to have worked after the first week.  that was a years ago, sometimes when i get a sinus infections, the Augmenten would not work, So the Doxycycline worked.  Z-PAK works great for my too and you take that 5 days, but it keeps working for 5 days that.

Does you doctor know about the numbness, that could be VERY DANGEROUS, if you did mention it to the doc., then do so immediately

You might want to see your dentist.  A bad tooth can cause sinus infections - and a "silver" filling can cause Mercury poisoning.

         Wishing you well
