Small white bump outside of anus

O.K. so I've recently had some trouble with itchiness inside my anus but that went down as I regularly cleaned it out with hot water. All of a sudden I noticed yesterday that I now have a small pea sized white bump near my anus opening at the bottom. When I push down on it, it seems like it's deep in my skin but there's no pain. When I touch it it is slimy sometimes. This is very embarrassing to post but I'm scared out of my mind xD. Do I have cancer? And I've had no recent Diarrhea or blood in stool. I feel perfectly fine. Please help me figure out this conundrum.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
Without examining the lump, it is difficult to comment what it is. Here is a list of possibilities of what it could be. The lump could be a prolapsed hemorrhoid, a skin tag, a benign rectal tumor, a rectal polyp, a rectal abscess, genital wart or a hematoma. Please consult your doctor for confirmed diagnosis. Get a STD panel done if you have a history of unprotected sex.
Hope this helps. Please let me know if there is any thing else and do keep me posted. Take care!
