My doctors are doing every test in the book, and I just got a couple of results back, but I don't know what they mean. I am only posting the ones that say they are either high or low according to their scale. I have had a multitude of symptoms, one including numbness of my jaw, neck and halfway down my chest, but that one seems to get ignored. "I don't know what would cause that," is all I get. Then, my left leg started going numb, same thing, ignored. I don't think he believes me because of all the symptoms, but here are a few test results. I would really appreciate any help you can give:
-PTH reference range 12-88 (does not establish a range for subjects 67 years (which is me), the result is 19.
-PROLAC ng/ml reference range is 3-27, mine is 2, which they are saying is low.
-A1C%, reference range is 4.0-6.0, mine is 8.0 which they are saying is high
-EST AV GLU mg/dl, no reference range, but mine is 182.9
-GLU R mg/dl, reference range is 70-199, mine is 349 which they are saying is high
-AST U/L, reference range is0-47, mine is 105 which is high
-ALP U/L reference range is 39-117, mine is 142 which is high
-PROT TOT g/dl, reference range is 6.4-8.3, mine is 6.2 which they say is low
-ALT U/L, reference range 0-47, mine is 71 which is high
-ALB g/dl, reference range is 3.4-5.0, mine is 3.2 which they say is low
-MCHC g/dl,reference range is 32.0-36.0, mine is 31.9 which they say is low
-RDWSD fl, range is 35.1-46.3, mine is 47.7 which is high
-RDW %, range is 11.7-14.2, mine is 14.9 which is high
I don't know what these tests are for, but if they would help figure out what is wrong with me, I'd sure like to know. Thank you.
