Standards of Care

Does anyone know what the standards of care are, for medical conditions, and how to locate them?

I am undiagnosed for 13 years...
1-Constant aching in my sacroiliac area.
2-Severe leg pain, and swelling and pitting edema in both legs, when I stand or walk.
3-Feeling sick and very tired, expecially after exertion.
4-Swelling and redness of my nailfolds when walking, which now has become constantly red.

RECENT SYMPTOM: Pitting edema in my wrists and abnormal immunoglobulin tests...
And motor loss in both knees...

I am a female, age 61.

Do a search of scholarly journals on CINAL *or MEDLINE.

You need to get a second opinion I would think.  I think you need a specialist for pituitary disorders.  You probably need an endocrinologist.
