Still have constant headaches - advil doesn't work.

I'm kinda worried. I posted a topic that helped me at ease a little from all of your responces. But, I'm still having headaches everyday and I'm worried it's something serious.

-I am on the computer a lot, so that might have something to do with it. But, even when I'm away from the computer, I still get them.
-I started getting them when it got hot out; is it cuz of the heat? I've had them for about 6 weeks.
-I'm supposed to get my vision checked in September. Maybe it's eye strain from the computer and maybe I need a new perscription? I'm getting contacts also.
-I have absolutely no trouble getting to sleep or sleeping. I never had to wake up because of a painful headache. When I wake up, everything is fine. It's usually mid-day when I start to get them. It's really a pain in the ass.

I've been taking advil to help the pain, but it doesn't work. Is this just tension headaches or something worse, like a tumor? There is no history of a brain tumor or any head trauma in my family. I have not bumped my head or have hurt it in any way. Please respond to this; I need answers.

Have you thought maybe about sinus headaches?  I wouldn't be too concerned about it being a brain tumor, I know 2 people who have had them and they had a multitude of other things happening to them. (face swelling, weight lose, forgetting simple things, slurring their words etc.)  But maybe just to ease your mind ask for a catscan.  I had a CTscan for my headaches and found out I was just having cluster headaches.  I don't know if this would work for you but I seem to get relief from eating chocolate.

Do you drink coffee?  Are you keeping hydrated?
Brain tumor headaches are worse in the morning I think and also they have other symptoms.

Coffee can cause bad headaches (or other caffeinated drinks).  Try giving up for a bit but expect a rebound headache.
Having too many painkillers can give you a rebound headache too so try cold turkey for a week and see what happens.

Good luck.

No, I don't drink coffee anymore. I used to. I drink water everyday, but not too much. I am doing a play right now, and there's no air conditioning in our auditoriam and we have really hot costumes, so that could effect my headaches. I also don't wear my glasses in the show. But, I still have headaches even when I'm wearing my glasses and when I'm in a cool place. They're not very constant - I just have them everyday.
