Strange Head Problem - Mini-Stroke?

Roughly 1 month ago I was sitting at the computer and had a sensation that I was shoved out of my chair.  Dizzy spell is NOT the right term by any means.  I was disoriented for a while as I thought that the leg on the chair broke or something like that - but I was still sitting in the chair.  It only lasted one or two seconds and I was more or less normal afterwards.  I was fine for about a week and then started having a YUK feeling in my head.  I felt like I had a fever, but didn't have one - temperature was fine.  My heart rate ran away once for a few minutes.  Recurring YUK feeling in my head and the feeling of flushed cheeks, etc.  Saw the family doc who ordered a CAT scan - perfectly normal.  The symptoms come and go - sometimes I feel perfectly normal, sometimes I have a slight wobbly sensation, YUK feeling in head or flushed feeling in my face.  Can anyone tell me what this is?  I can't seem to get in to see a neurologist until December or later.  Should I go to an ER?  Can they get me to the right doctor quickly?

I have no idea your age and guess that you are female.
You sound menopausal - and that can start in late 20s nowadays. This could explain flushed cheeks and why CT scan was normal.
I would also suggest blood pressure checks at your local pharmacy. You need about 8 to begin getting an accurate reading. When my pressure was up I'd have similar disorientation. But then again I had the cranial virus 4 yrs ago which has since healed nicely. But I still must watch my sodium - another something 4U to watch for - sodium. Google where it is mostly found (it's everywhere but you can at least avoid the majors right?)

Forgot to mention - I am a 46 year old male.  Also had a "creepy crawly" sensation in head after the initial event.
