Strange Lump Bottom of Scrotum below skin

Hi, I have a strange lump in the bottom left region of my scrotum. I don't believe that it is a pimple or anything as it is definitely below the skin, it feels almost like a vessel of some sort as I can kind of follow it back towards the intersection between my upper leg and groin region, but it seems to be more bulbous at the end. It is located about 2 or 3 inches up from my anus and about an inch to the left of that center line in my scrotum. I feel nothing like it on the opposite side of my scrotum. I'm not sure how long its been there but I found it about 2 weeks ago. Could this be a swollen lymph gland and nothing to worry about? Ideas? Thanks!

It is difficult to comment without examining the lump. It could be due to varicocele or spermatocele. It could also be a hernia or a hydrocele. Please consult your PCP and get yourself examined.
