About 4-5 months ago I developed a small growth of cartilage on my ear (about a quarter of the way down from the top, on the outer edge). It isn't a lump but more of a small flat growth that comes to a point. It's pretty small and not painful at all but just weird. What could this be from? Can I get it removed?
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
A growth on the ear can be a lipoma or localized collection of fat or it can be a skin tumor or eczema. Tumor of cartilage too is a possibility. At times it is a variant of the normal structure only. It is difficult to comment beyond this at this stage. Do consult your doctor.
Hope this helps. Take care!
