Strange eye sensations

For the last week or so I have been experiencing a strange fuzzy (I guess) feeling around but in my left eye. It doesn't hurt, and it doesn't impair my vision, but it's a very strange sensation. I looked up eye discomfort causes and the only thing that seemed close to this is Glaucoma. I can't think of any reason that I would have that, since it doesn't run in the family and I have never had any eye issues before. Actually, the only thing I can even think of that has ever caused me eye-irritation is when I was shot in the eye with a nerf gun about 6 years ago and it caused a subconjunctival hemmorhage.

Any ideas?

With eye "symptoms" you should see an ophthalmologist.  This is a medical doctor as oppposed to an optometrist.

Hi. Definitely get a thorough eye exam. I went 2 days ago for the first time ever. It took about an hour, but the tests weren't bad at all. They look for everything nowadays. They will definitely be able to tell you if anything is wrong with your eye.

The Test for Glaucoma is very simple and can be done by an optician, it may put your mind at rest and it may not do any harm to have your eyes checked anyway.

You probably don't have glaucoma but may have a slight infection
that should have a look-see. Glauc. occurs after age 30. There's
Angle-Glaucoma: over 60/throb eye pain/dilated fixed pupil.
Open Angle-Glaucoma: over 30/loss of peripheral vision or
blurred on the nasal side of sight/no pain. You alter the eye
fluid when you even sneeze. Sometimes it leaves behind a strange
feeling behind the eye for short time. May want to go to an
Opthalmologist for exam since they can write scripts in case
you need rx drops. Keep fingers off so you don't tranfer a
problem to the other eye. Gd-luck.

Hi I get odd eye sensations which dont hurt and its related to dry eye syndrome. Look it up see if it matches. Sure someone else will have an idea. Chris
