Strange ongoing symtoms - Please help :(

Dear doctor,

I'm a 22 year old female and fairly healthy as far as I thought.. For the past two years I've been having trouble feeling comfortable temperature wise.. pretty much cold and hot flashes out of nowhere all day.. all through the night as well. I've also been very fatigued since the start of those symptoms. About a month or two ago I started having severe dizzy spells. If I stand up I get dizzy andfall over to my right side every time..it's frightening. As I'm typing this my arms and fingers feel really weak, more so than they normally do. I really have no idea what's going on here. My husband doesn't think it's serious at all..

I actually had hypothyroidism when I was 16! The doctor said it was because I was on Lithium and that med causes it.. I haven't been on that drug since I was 18 though since the determined they miss diagnosed me with bi polar but haven't had my thyroid checked since they told me "it went away".

Do you suffer from any headaches or muscle aches? One thing I would do is have tests run for your thyroid levels and glucose levels by an endocrinologist. I have all these symptoms along with many more and discovered that I was low thyroid and had reactive hypoglycemia. I am doing further testing with a lyme disease specialist because my symptoms have been progressing and doctors can not determine the cause. My husband and son suffer from the same conditions and my endocrinologist recommended we rule out lyme disease.

Any idea what kind of tests they would do on me? I'm just afraid I'd go in list my symptoms and they would just think I'm nuts or something =/

I'm NOT a dr. BUT I would go get checked by one. That doesn't seem right to me.
