Strep triggered Neuropathy?
For about 6 months, I've had an incurable sore throat(at least with penicillin) with general malaise and fatigue; twice I had confirmation of strep group g (swabs and ASO titre). About 1 month ago my infection progressed into neurological symptoms (muscle numbness, weakness, soreness, extreme fatigue, disorientation, and of course, a sore throat).

Interestingly, after a couple of courses of penicillin, my symptoms seemed to improve.

Unfortunately, I'm off antibiotics at the moment and my symptoms seem to be returning. More pins and needles, a numb face, gums, teeth, arms/shoulders/back muscles. Meanwhile, I'm waiting to see a neurologist (2 weeks), a Lyme expert (3 days) and an allergist (1 week).

My ASO titre is still high, despite the fact that my last confirmed infection was 1.5 months ago.   I've been on penicillin pretty much ever since.
