Sudden Loss Of 99% strenght in arms and legs for one day then ok for a couple then happens again

I am 60 years old and have Bi-Polar II.   I take Zoloft, Diazapam and Antenatal.  About four weeks ago I began having slight headaches day and night. Then one day I was sitting in my chair and tried to get up but I could not.  I had lost 99% of the strength in both my arms and legs and was having a difficult time breathing. I rent a room in a large house but everyone was gone.  I yelled for help but no one came. I didn't have the strength to look for my cell phone.  I could actually feel the life forces leaving my body  My bed is about 10' away and for some reason I knew I had to get to it.By some miracle I finally made it.  It took almost 45 minutes to do it though.  Getting in bed was another problem but again somehow I managed.  I took a diazapham and two advils.  After a few minutes my breathing was ok.  There was no pain involved, I just couldn't use my muscles.  I also had a very high temperature.  I keep a thermometer next to my bed.  I couldn't believe what it read.  I thought it must be broken because it read 103.4.  I knew I was in serious trouble.  For some reason I was able to go to sleep.  The next morning, much to my surprise, my legs and arms were working again. They were at about 75% strength but at least they were working.  The only problem was my sense of balance and coordination was way off.  I would tripped and fell over a feather it was so bad.  It day I gained more strength so I didn't call my doctor.  Yesterday the exact same thing happened.  Loss of about 95+% of strength in my legs and arms. Again no one was home and just my luck my cell phone was dead.  I did the same thing crawled into bed and took the same medication and fell asleep.  I woke up this morning and same thing.  My strength was back but my coordination and sense of balance we still way off.  My headaches are getting worse and there is a lump on the right rear of my head that is growing and causes me a lot of pain.  I called my doctor and was told that October would be the soonest she could see me.  I was so angry I didn't know what to do.  Since I'm disabled with Bi-Polar no doctor will take you if you have medicare.  Any ideas please on what might be going on?

Thank you

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
Your symptoms need urgent medical attention—call for ambulance or go to emergency.
These could be due to very high or very low BP, pinched cervical spinal nerves due to the lump, low or high blood sugar, benign intracranial hypertension due to raised CSF pressure, or a stroke/mini-stroke.
It's best not to start guessing games now—please rush to a hospital to find out the exact cause through detailed examination. Take care!

You have experienced symptoms consistent with a stroke. There are other possibilities, all potentially life-threatening.

The appropriate action is to call 911 and request an ambulance.

Sir, this is very concerning and possibly a very big problem. Without an assessment from a physician I would be afraid to speculate as to the cause but the growing bump on your head with headache and VERY serious fever is incredibly concerning. I would urge you to call an ambulance and get to an emergency departement to be evaluated. Do not wait for your primary care physician to get to you.
