Sudden Rash

by Carrie75, Oct 28, 2007 10:47AM
I dropped my 7 year old daughter off at Sunday School and an hour later picked her up and her face was swollen and her face neck back and chest were "sunburnt" red.  She was not in contact with anything new that I can think of except a turtle neck sweater she had not worn since last winter.  She had strep throat on October 5th.  I gave her benedryl almost 2 hours ago and most of the redness has subsided except for the middle of her face and the puffiness around her eyes, her face has white blotches now around the outer edges of her face..  Does this sound like and allergic reaction or possibly scarlet fever?  By the way so far she has not had a fever.  However, I gave her tylenol to make sure.  Thanks
