Despite sitting in the shade all Memorial Day, I still ended up with a terrible sunburn on my arms, the tops of my legs, and my face. What concerns me is when I get really burnt like I did yesterday, my arms and legs tend to not only have the topical symptoms of a sunburn (ie burning feeling and sensitivity) but I am also experiencing deeper pain in my arms that almost feels like a lack of circulation. My hands are cold when I experience this sensation. It is really hard to explain, but it feels almost like a carpal tunnel or as though my arms have been overextended. It feels like the sunburn is digging deeper into the tissue of my arm.
Could sunburn be causing a vascular/circulation problem?
