TROUBLE BREATHING??? THROAT WHEEZE??

I'm a 19 year old male with no history of asthma, but i do have an allergy to pet dander.  When im around cats or dogs, my eyes get itchy, my throat feels "puffy" and i sneeze.  What I'm experiencing right now is totally different, so i dont think it's allergies.

My throat just feels kind of constricted, and when i breathe through my mouth, i have a wheeze comming from my THROAT, which you can hear only if you were in close proximity to me, and it was quiet in the room.

I have also been having what FEELS like excess mucus in my throat which makes me having to keep clearing it.  I have no cough, but when I make myself cough to try and get some phlegm up, nothing comes up or even feels like anything budges.

I can breathe better if I bend over or get in certian positions, but i dont kno why.. maybe cuz it opens up the airway?? i dont kno.

Also, I took some apple cider vinegar STRAIGHT, without diluting it a couple days ago, and it BURNED the back of my throat SOOOO BAD!! I couldn't catch my breath it burned so bad until i took some water.  It felt like acid.  Since then I've had the mucus feeling in my throat.

I also dont think it's asthma, cuz the wheeze is so slight, and comes from my throat, and goes away if i lay a certian way.  And I can always expand my lungs to full capacity, it's just my throat is tight and constricted.

Could it be G.E.R.D.??  Because I do burp alot like I have alot of gas, and my throat burns a little sometimes.  Or could I have done somethin to my throat when i took the vinegar? Or did the vinegar burn bad cuz of GERD? HELP!

it is just asthma!
coupled with an allergic reaction to animal dander which is very common for asthmatics
one way to diagnose asthma is to listen for WHEEZING
keep away from pets, wash your hands before touching your face
take some benadryl, you'll be fine
GERD has nothing to do with it
those are totally seperate entities
and your throat can and will swell alittle in response to really hot liquids
try drinking lots of ice water or chewing ice chips for awhile; also INSAIDS like aspirin or motrin should be taken regularly to reduce swelling.
a good inicator of GERD is if it wakes you up in the middle of the night. And if you get heart burn more than 3-4 times a week.
If your throat doesn't feel better within a week, or becomes progressively worse, see a doctor

It sounds like some type of allergic reation. When it gets to where you feel like you can't breath I would go straight to the hospital.
