That rarest of rare cases?

I'm not having any luck finding information through the other forums on this. I saw an ENT about 2 months ago for a chronic cough, he prescribed a pile of meds for GERD and PND to be taken for two weeks and I ended up worse than I started. I almost wish it was just the chronic cough, that I could live with. Here's what I have that no one seems to be able to diagnose:

- white "stuff" covering my tongue every morning to varying degrees.
- strong white marks on the back sides and top of tongue, and a few smaller white marks near the front that can be scraped off with a tongue brush, but come back later in the day. They also disappear after eating.
- Cough is still there, not so bad though
- swollen tonsils, irritated uvula, quite red
- odd swelling under back of tongue
- two odd things protruding that look EXACTLY like this:

- sore, tight neck

I've seen a few GPs so far, two of them did fungal swabs which came back negative for fungus, and they said that means it's not candida. I can scrape it off so it's not OHL or leukoplakia. The ONLY clue I have, is that I tried taking Zantac for two weeks and after the first day, my tongue was back to normal! Then 3 days later it all came back along with a bad dry cough and sore throat that lasted up to now. I have been tested for HIV, Syphilis and herpes, all negative. I also had a full blood count which came back normal.

Does anyone have any ideas what is happening to me? Two of the GPs said that since I took so much medicine these past few months, my body's immune system is all messed up and will take some time to readjust. That sounds too vague to me,... help?

I finally found SOMETHING online, which is probably the worst place to be finding anything. Check this out:

http://www.dentalhealth.org/tell-me-about/topic/mouth-conditions/geographic-tongue

Medhelp will probably blank out the URL above, so you may have to search for dentalhealth, tell me about, and geographic tongue to find this. It's one of the rare few articles I have found that suggest geographic tongue can actually cause a degree of thrush or candida. Here is the interesting part,

"The red areas, because they are thin, can sometimes become infected with thrush (candida) and so feel sore. Thrush is very common in mouths."

I still haven't seen the ENT yet, I am planning to go in a week or so, but I have seen several GPs and an oral surgeon(and spent a load of money) and all of them say I have nothing and it's just geographic tongue. BUT, it scrapes off and comes back during the day slowly and fully by morning. As I have yet to find one article that states you can brush or rub off geographic tongue, I have a hard time believing that it actually IS geographic tongue. I'm guessing still no one has any input on this...

My stool is a little loose, but not black or bloody. I don't smoke either. I have had bowel troubles for a long time though, belching up food, bad gas, but never pain or discomfort like this. I've been digging all over the web trying to find something I can relate this too but can't find anything. It looks a lot like geographic tongue which my oral surgeon said it probably is, but it doesn't move around and it can be scraped off. The only websites that have text saying geographic tongue can be scraped off are the ones that sell magic potions for removing it, so that information can't be reliable. I wish there was someone else out there with something similar, just wish I could get an idea of what's happening to me...
