Thigh is hot after heart cath

This was my second heart cath. The first one was in 05 and the second one 8 days ago. It started with a stress test with the medicine, I am disabled so could not walk on treadmill. I got a call saying the test was abnormal and that my left heart was clogged. The dr. said that he needed to do the heart cath to see how bad it is and he would use the balloon or stent. It took hours for them to get me in there and then the male nurse did not put the medicine in at the right time and I felt him cut me and felt the tube go in. Anyway, after that he told me that I was fine. I couldn't figure that out and have not seen him since. My question is why is my thigh hot to the touch and worse at night? It's like a hot flash but does not go away. What can be done or does it mean anything?
Thank you for your advice ahead of time.
Mary

You should bring this to the immediate attention of your physician. That means as of now. Not ten minutes from now. If he is unavailable, go to an emergency room. You have a symptom which may mean nothing or could be very serious. Chances are it isn't very serious, but you need an in-person opinion by an M.D.
