Throat spasms, cough, vomiting, watering eye

Almost daily I have spasms on the right side of my neck/throat (above my adams apple) that causes coughing/gagging and often slight vomiting, and my right eye waters profusely, and my right nostril starts dripping. Only lasts a few minutes, and is usually in the afternoon or evening, but never during night or early morning. I take wellbutrin in am, and sometimes think it might be due to that, but have not been able to find any answers. Also seems to be a small swelling on right side of throat where I feel the spasms.

Hi,

How are you?
It is very unlikely that these symptoms are due to wellbutrin.
There is a possibility that this swelling is an enlarged lymph node. This enlarged lymph node could be in response to a throat infection.
Another possibility is an enlarged thyroid gland. The exact diagnosis can be made only by a clinical examination.
Please consult your physician. Do keep us posted!

I was wondering if this might be parathyroidism. I plan to go again to the Dr., but she didn't have any suggestions last time..I was hoping to be able to discuss possiblilities she wasn't familiar with, so any advice would be appreciated!
