I was just wondering if someone could help. I am a 26 year old female. I have low TSh levels 0.02
I also have a vitamin B12 deficiency.
Symptoms wise, I have been having very bad mood swings. Extreme highs and lows and I get sad and angry a lot. I have never had these issues before and am usually super happy and a bit peppy if anything. My husband says that I am completely different at times. There is no reason for me being sad I will just cry over a commercial or for nothing at all.. I am also very tired a lot. I have maintained my weight (115 lbs). I am still pretty active, but I feel like I have less and less energy and I am sometimes out of breath when I ride my bike or even just walk.
I have had a thyroid uptake and scan and it came back normal.
I just keep going back and they keep taking blood and it seems like nothing is coming from it... Can anyone help me or have any idea what could help me feel normal. I just feel off all of the time... Thank you in advance.
Has an endocrinologist done a full hormonal work-up, not just thyroid? What about a dynamic MRI of the pituitary with and without contrast- has any doctor suggested that?
Are they treating you for the B12 deficiency and monitoring your level? Have they checked your ferritin and iron saturation level to be sure you aren't iron deficient, with your lagging energy, shortness of breath, etc. (see private message for more info on iron deficiency symptoms).
