Thyroid

I have been told that my thyroid, which is enlarged onthe right side, needs examining.  I have had a barium swallow and a blood test, all of which have been all right. I am having difficulty sswallowing some foods, and my energy levels are very low, am having lots of aches and pains all over my body and sometimes, after a minimal amount of exertion my tongue feels swollen.

This discussion is related to swollen glands right side of neck.

ive been told that ur thyroid is a very tricky thing... untill i started having thyroid issues i had no idea what that little thing actually did..... tell ur doc tho and if problem persists he could refer you to an endocronologist they have a way better understanding of the issues and concerns of thyroid patients

If they haven't done a CT scan and thyroid blood test I would get that done as soon as possible.
