Tip of penis sore for the last few days

So, I've been reading up about the condition I'm about to post, and have seen other posts like it, but my question concerns something else then what is frequently asked.

To start off, I recently began masturbating. At 17, I'll admit, I'm a little late to the game, but with my girlfriend of a more than a year now pledging abstinence (ugh), I decided I might as well learn somehow.
So, after about a month of doing so once or twice every day or two, I began to realize that every now and then the tip of my penis would flare up in occasional bouts of discomfort, but usually went away within half an hour.

(For the sake of information, I will say that I usually masturbated laying down, and finished into a tube sock.)

After a particularly uncomfortable experience of the event described in the last paragraph, I decided to give my 'soldier' a break, thinking that I'd just been working him too hard. That was about a week ago.
The first day after I decided to stop for a few days, the tip of my penis was sensitive and irritated, making me feel a slight, more annoying than painful feeling down there all day. It burned slightly as it rubbed up against my clothes. It didn't hurt to urinate though.

Thinking this was just a side-effect, I made it through the day.
The next day, I woke up with the same effects, and the day after that, and the day after that...

So now, here I am. It's been almost a week now, and my penis tip is still sore and uncomfortable. Any insights as to what's going on, and what I can do to relieve the pain? (I've heard horror stories about what doctors do to test penis-heads...*shudder*...So any home-remedies or tips would be extremely helpful)

it could be something related with your age that will get better once the penis and its skin have finished developing.

which condition have you been reading up? you should check Phimosis.

maybe the skin is too tight around the penis and the pressure on it causes small sores that get easily infected. In the long term this can worsen the condition so you should talk about it with a Doctor.

wash your hands carefully before "use", and wash the part afterwards.

go to a pharmacy and buy a "Fusidic acid" cream. it's very efficient anti-bacterial. one brand is Fucidin I don't know whether they sell it in your area.

a natural remedy against bacteria and fungi is vinegar! it will burn a bit for a few seconds.

Hydrogen peroxide or even mouthwash could do too.

I am not laughing about the situation but how are you doing that it saids you are a famale in your profile..  I advise you to moisturize with vaseline or any other moisture cream you like, and that you limit masturbation or use a lubricant.  It doesn't sound like anything to worry about.
Take care
