Hi!
In milder Raynaud’s disease and phenomenon no visible color changes occur except for a slight pinkish hue. Rheumatoid arthritis and Lupus too could be a differential diagnosis of your problem. Hope this helps. Take care!
Thanks :)
Does raynauds always cause the skin to change colour? My toes appear to be the same colour/ turn slight pink when theyre cold same as my hands... they've never changed colour.. ie. white/ blue/ red
Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
There are many causes for ridges on the toes nails such as eczema, lichen planus, dermatitis, peripheral vascular disease, psoriasis, fungal infection, and Raynaud’s disease. Since you all have numbness, shooting pains, forgetfulness, arm and leg weakness and fatigue chances of Raynaud’s disease and other peripheral vascular diseases should be ruled out. Diabetes, smoking, high lipids and high blood pressure are some of the causes of peripheral vascular diseases. Please discuss this with an internal medicine specialist and a skin specialist. Hope this helps. Take care!
just to add...
i found this website/ link... stating ridges that run across the nails could be caused by inflammation.. possibly autoimmune or imflamitory disease related?
