Top of Left foot swollen ver tender to touch

On Monday, October 31st, I had an Ultrasound of the lower extremities.  One of the things they had me do was raise up onto my tiptoes and back to flat footed as many times has I could until I reached 100 or my calf muscle hurt to much.  I made it to about 65 before I could do no more.

By Tuesday the very top of my foot hurt a bit, kinda like it was bruised.  By Wednesday morning it hurt a lot when I tried to get out of bed and walk on it.  Once I get moving a bit it stops hurting some what.  But if I sit down to long or when I go to bed it will wake me up it is so tender to the touch and foot gets extremely stiff feeling and almost impossible to try and walk on.  It also look to be swollen somewhat.
Could I have pulled or torn something doing this test?
I have an appointment with my doctor Monday.  He was out of town all last week.

I think you might have a stress fracture, but that's just a guess.
