Trying to figure this out!

About 4 weeks ago, I had the flu, or what I thought was the flu, I had serious body aches and fatigue and had to sleep the entire day. This lasted for a couple days but I only had a minor fever.  Then a few days later my neck and right shoulder started to get really stiff. And I woke up in the middle of the night with my heart racing, shivering and dizzy. I got up and had like an instant bowel movement. Eventually my heart slowed and I was able to go back to bed. Since then my neck is still, stiff and painful, I can't really turn it or look up or down. I have had mild headaches come and go daily, chills and nights sweats.  Last night I had another major episode where I woke and my right arms was completely numb. I couldn't catch my breath and my heart was racing like I had just finished a serious sprint. I couldn't get up because I was totally dizzy.  Eventually I got up and got some water as my heart slowed down but my chest hurt on my left side.  I went back to sleep eventually exhausted. But I awoke an hour later completely drenched in sweat.  Today I just feel cold and shivers but my face feels hot. I feel a little foggy brained too.

Does any one have any ideas of what this could be? I'm going to see my doctor tomorrow.

sound like flu symptoms to me but if you feel your neck stiff and the headache dont go away and gets worse after you move your head up or down go back to the doctor immediately, it could be meningitis.
