Two things that I can think of right off the bat that can cause twitching is stress and/or a magnesuim deficiency.

All the best,

I have been having the same problem lately...have noticed it mostly in my shoulder as I am starting to fall asleep.  Sometimes in my legs too.  I have no idea what is causing it, but have noticed it increasing lately.  I am interested to hear if anyone has an answer to this one too!
