UTI or kidney stone? or nothing at all?

Last night I had a stomach ache which I thought was just an ovarian cyst, I've had a history of them so I thought that's what it was and it would go away. So I went to bed and when I got up this morning, I went to the bathroom. My urine was so cloudy you couldn't see the bottom of the toilet. So could this be a kidney stone or anything? The pain radiates from my back in my stomach and a little bit to my hip, but isnt intirely too bad. Thanks for any advice.

I hope by now you are feeling better or sought medical attention.  I had these same symptoms last year and ignored them.  They persisted for several weeks.  I ended up spiking a 105 temperature and having to have emergency surgery to place a stent in my right kidney.  Evidently, I had a kidney stone lodge and block off the uretha which resulted in a severe infection which had started poisoning my blood.  I was extremely sick for a week and they then were able to remove the stone.  Please go to your doctor and insist on blood work and a urine culture.

This could be some discharge from your vaginal area.  If pain persists or gets worse, see a doctor.

You can actually buy an AZO test kit from any drug store.  I've had a couple of UTI's, and used these strips before going to the doc.  They've been accurate for me.  Just an FYI.

if it were a kidney stone, you wouldn't be able to say the phrase 'isn't entirely too bad.'  Kidney stones are worse than childbirth.  Possibly a UTI - I'd have it checked out.
