Ultrasound scan - plaques in Gall Bladder

by Ramasubramanian, May 15, 2009 03:42AM
My abdominal ultrasound scan taken recently has revealed that "there is an iso -hyper echogenic irreguar plaque measuring 25 X 10 mm adherent to the right lateral wall of GB and another plaque of size measuring about 10 X 9 mm noted in the left lateral wall of Gall Bladder. No pericholecystic fluid collection noted." Could some expert kindly tell me what this means, the chances of this being malignant, the next steps to be taken by me etc. Thanks a million.

Ram
