From what you said,  I really think it is your Gall Bladder  I think that your gastro doc is right.  Your Gall Bladder is kind of like your overflow for bile.  If your Gall Bladder is not producing bile the way it should it can make you very sick.  Mine on the other hand was diseased badly mine was producing too much it sounds like yours just stopped working.  I think you should go with what your gastro doc says,  I mean he should know more about your digestive system because that is what he went to med school for.  I really think  if you really want both doctors to agree on what it is, why don't you get another opinion from another gastro doc or another surgeon?  I feel confident that its your gall bladder.  But I am no doctor.  If you are still uncertain just consult another doctor if need be.  But I think that the surgeon is just taking a shot in the dark and your gastro doc hit the nail on the head.  If you can't produce enough bile that can make you very sick because your bile is to help you digest your food.  I really think it is your gall bladder hun but just to be safe consult another doctor.

Surgeon  did a colonoscopy and an EDG and diagnoised me with crohns.  He sent me to the gastro dr. for a second opinion.  The gastro dr. did not agree and wanted to do another EDG.  This time my esophgus was stretched and he said  somthing about a spin. ring.  He then said he need to use twice as much meds to get whatever it was to asperate bile.  said bile was so hard he had a hard time getting it asperated.  He said he was looking for crystals.  Today he said he did not find any crystals and was sending me back to the surgeon since the hida scan from earlier said the  gb was working at only 8%.  He fills that the gb needs to be removed.  Does anyone have any suggestions on whether it could still be crohns or a bad gb.  Drs. arent agreeing on what it could be.  Biops from surgeon say crohns and gastro dr.  said he didn't think that is what it is even though he didn't do a colonoscopy.  Only the surgeon did that .  any suggestions

I think I might be able to help.  When I had a scan of my gall bladder, they told me that I had cholesteral crystals wrapped around my gall bladder I am thinking that is the same thing the ultrasound scan is saying about yours its just built up plaque but can cause gall bladder attacks but that wasn't the only thing wrong with my gall bladder.  Mine was diseased as well and it had to be removed.  If it is causing you pain and its messing with your health, have the surgery to get it removed.  Hope I helped!

If u r asking me no I still don't have an answer.   I am going to see a gsatrolgist to see if he agrees with what the surgeon thinks.  My family dr.  does not think it is crohns.  He wants to see the path report for himself.  If you find out anything new let me know.   thanks
