Undiagnosed Neck Pains

Several years ago I was in a Train wreck, I hurt my neck and back severely. Im only concerned with Neck at the moment because of space. It moves and snaps, I cant turn my head to far to the right or look up for long or it will start hurting. If that happens It usually will trigger a sick headache (migraine with vomiting), other symptoms are numbness in my lips and tongue and numbness, shaking and weakening in my left shoulder and entire arm. I also seem not loose control of my ability to control urination process. Ie when I have to go I have to go there is no  holding it. My doctors who treated me after the accident to me it was whiplash but they were still saying it after two years of treatment. I have had whiplash and it was over in a little over a week. What can it be so I have my current doctors look into it. It getting worse.

Hi,

What comes to my my mind is a displaced atlas vertebra. This can cause cracking sounds in your neck, headaches and a variety of other problems.

If on Youtube you look for this combination of words 'Atlas orthogonal correction' you'll find a video that briefly explains what this is about. And with some searching on Google you'll find specialized chiropractors who can readjust (quick and painless) your atlas for you. Atlas Profilax and Atlas Orthogonal are two approaches, which I believe to be very similar.

This is not something that many doctors know or think about, but I've seen very good results with some people I know. As always no guarantees, but the cracking neck is an indication that this could help you.

I hope this may help you, best of luck.

Steven

Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
Try and get a MRI of the neck—there must be a pinched nerve due to canal stenosis, bulging or slipped disc. Please consult a neurologist. Take care!
