I would say you need an MRI and an MRA, ASAP. (As soon as possible). An MRA is an MRI with dye contrast medium. I would suggest you request what is known as a 3T (Tesla) MRI rather than a 1 1/2 T (Tesla) MRI. As mentioned lots of non-tumor conditions can cause these symptoms, but every now again again someone gets the golden bee-bee. An EKG is not sufficient, nor is an x-ray.
Hi! I feel your pain, quite literally. I'm not in the medical field, but I can give you some sort of insight into what doctors look for when persons present with vertigo with accompanying eye pressure, like me. Given the two together, you obviously need an MRI to rule out Multiple Sclerosis. You could very well have some sort of ear infection or fluid build up in the ear for some other reason. (Oddly, I think GERD can cause something like that.) You want to ensure that you don't have some sort of degenerative issues with discs in your cervical spine. Mine are crushed from a car accident, but a friend of mine had his just degenerate on him due to heredity. You could have vertiginous or other migraines that don't present with the classic head ache. You could possibly have something like Menieres Disease or a number of Auto-Immune issues that start off with vague symptoms. Definitely look into Lyme and something called a Mycoplasm infection. Lyme and mycoplasm infections can cause ANYTHING to happen to you. Hopefully, this gives you some hope. Lots of non-tumor conditions can cause what you describe. ~ N
hi there,
sorry you are experiencing so many crazy symptoms. obviously make sure you get an mri to rule out tumors and such. have you been tested for lyme disease? lyme can cause alot
of neurologicalsymptoms. defitately ask for a lyme test and ask for a copy of the results.
