Undiagnosed head and neck pain

I have had pain for a year on the right side of my head .  It seems to eminate from in front of my ear in my cheek and pressure builds to the point that my right eye begins to water and I have head and neck pain.  The only medication that has relieved this pain has been Augmentin which would lead me to believe it is bacterial.  No other antibiotics have been effective though.  After a long course of Augmentin, the symptoms lessened for about two months.  Recently they have come back.  I have seen the ENT and an oral surgeon.  It is not TMJ as the ENT suggested.  The pain is coupled with tinnitus.  I believe this is a result of years of sinusitus and ear infections.  The ENT did a rudimentary exam and shoved a scope up my nose and sent me on my way.  As I said, I believe this goes back to my chronic ear nose and throat problems.  I have done some research and found a condition called Chronic Otitis Media that matches some of my symtoms including blockage or fullness of the ear, diminished hearing, persistent deep ear pain and headache and sometimes sleepiness.  I do not have chronic ear drainage, balance problems, facial weakness or fever which are also symptoms.  I am considering finding another ENT and a neurologist after that.  Any thoughts would be helpful

It may be environmental.  Eliminate using anti-bacterial aerosol sprays, such as Lysol spray if you are using it.

Occasionally, a sinus infection may be so bad, and resistant to all antibiotics, that the infection has to be surgically removed. I knew a lady who had a sinus infection for 10 years, and had it treated with surgery.
