Unexplained nausea, mild pain, etc

I started having nausea, on Tuesday, which was somewhat relieved by vomiting Tuesday evening. However, I have continued having nausea every day since then which begins in the morning and lasts all day, whether or not I eat. Some days I have vomited others I haven't. I do get more nauseous when standing and even more nauseous the longer I stand in one place, which also makes me light headed & increases my headache pain. I went to my doctor Friday. He prescribed phentermine, which hasn't worked. Neither has Pepto-Bismol or Tums. I have had  my normal headache and have also notice an occasional very mild chest pain, similar to what I get when I've had bronchitis in the past. My doctor won't be back in his office until Tuesday. Should I go to an Urgent Care Center tonight/Monday or wait until my doctor returns on Tuesday? My doctor seemed to think the nausea may be caused by my low vitamin D 8/.9 or my thyroid levels which were out of whack (I'm hypothyroida & take synthroid)

Did they check your heart?  A heart attack is not the same for women as for men.  Women get very little pain, malaise, nausea, and sometimes sweating.
A mitral valve prolapse is a very common condition and could cause these symptoms.
it wouldn't hurt to look into it.

Thanks for your advice.   Whoops! I get the 2 confused. I meant Phenergan. I actually made the same mistake at is office.I can't take the Levothyroxine as the generic isn't consistent. I've been taking synthroid for years. My last test though showed my TSH at 38.59 (scale .45-4.50), which is the highest it has ever been and T-4 of 3.0 on scale(4.50 - 12.0). He thinks problem is due to the D3 levels.

Shannon,
Can you please explain your MD's rational for prescribing phentermine.  This is a common drug used to treat patients with Obesity.  Did you doctor evaluate your current level of medication of Levothyroxine?  If you are receiving too much of this medication it can have serious side effects.  Levothyroxine (synthroid) takes time to build up into your system which is why you may have felt okay on it initially.  I would suggest that you contact a medical professional.  Any chest pain is serious.  I would urge you to go to Urgent Care and have your symptoms evaluated.  Make sure you take ALL the medications and Vitamins you care currently taking with you.
